George Neble
George has a long and successful career in the Boston area. Most recently he was the Managing Partner of Ernst & Young’s Boston office and Greater New England markets. George is a Board Member, Revenue Leader, Broad Visibility within the Boston high tech entrepreneurial community. Prior to Ernst & Young, George was an Assurance Partner at Arthur Andersen & Co.
George was responsible for nearly 2000 people during a period of corporate culture change at Ernst & Young. He is proud to have been part of the EY leadership team that helped the firm be recognized by FORTUNE MAGAZINE as one of the best places to work in the United States. George was responsible for revenue goals for all service lines in geography which resulted in revenue in excess of $300 million. He represented Ernst & Young with key business leadership organizations such as the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, Massachusetts Business Roundtable, United Way of Massachusetts Bay, Mass Mentoring Partnership, Massachusetts Society of CPAs, and BELL.
George has significant IPO experience that included Acme Packet, EnerNOC, Carbonite, Brightcove while also serving other public technology- based clients, Trip Advisor, Skillsoft, Phase Forward, Bottomline Technologies, Axcelis and ATG.
In addition to his successful career at both E&Y and Arthur Andersen George, is a Senior Advisor to AVALT, a Boston based private equity focused family office. He is Audit committee chair and board member, EverQuote (Nasdaq-EVER). He is an Advisory board member to CrossCountry Consulting along with being a Consultant and Advisor/Advisory board member to a number of emerging growth companies. George is also the Chairman of the Mass Mentoring Partnership.
